Siva.

Siva. from Berlin basically play IndiePop with English lyrics and one could say, that Pop is a big part of their music. At the end of their gigs, listeners often stand there overwhelmed, just to realize, that they have been stunned from the first note already. This band is complex: offside and beyond the usual Indie-Hippness wtih its bitter NME-aftertaste Siva. prove, that there is more matter, more substance to their music and their lyrics. Andreas Bonkowski’s wonderful and warm voice totally transmits the content of this music: intensity, emotion and credibility. Fine Rhodes-sounds, a vulnerable guitar, some coltish electronics and a warm bass – exciting details being added to a warm musical surface.

Siva. played shows with well-known bands as wie Portugal. The Man, Voxtrot, Logh, Tele, 31 Knots or Mew. That shows, that one could count on Siva.. After having successfully released their great debut-album The Story Is Complete, But I Think We´ve Lost The Book in 2007, the second album Same Sights. New Light (Devilduck Records/Indigo) is nothing less than a remarkable indie-pop masterpiece! Siva. will enter more stages and leave more people stunned after their gigs.
