Alias Caylon

Alias Caylon from the far North and are warmly welcomed guests at promoters’ in whole Germany. Great songwriting , which makes emotion dance to total exaustation – that’s how German Magazine Persona Non Grata, said and it’s, what you will find on an Alias Caylon-gig. One thing is for sure: after the show your ears might burn. Which is, what happened to some critics, who tried to classify Alias Caylon’s music – here’s one attempt: „Postpunky Emo-Indierock – but drawers you’ll find at furniture stores like IKEA or OBI... these songs are far to complex arranged and there’s too much in it, so all these words won’t help describing their sound“ (Ox Fanzine). Maybe it’s better to not try to classify this complex music, better not try to put it into musical drawers.

Their Debut album’s title „Resorbing Everything“, released in 2005 by Redfield Records, could be seen as the band’s agenda: the songs are „catchy, passionate and at the same time playful enough to open new facets, this is HC-Rock, as you want it to be plaid.“ (Westzeit). Also, you could say it like this: „Their songs have got the right balance beween catchyness and strange overtunes.“ (Intro)

The second album „Follow The Feeder“, releaed in early 2009, received extraordinary good cristics, features, interviews and rankings in VISIONS, SLAM, UNCLE SALLY*s, OX, TRUST and many more big magazines as well as massive radio airplay.
